Jorge Guillén received the B.S. degree in Geology from the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, in 1983 and Ph.D. degree in geology from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, in 1992. He is currently a Scientific Researcher with the Institut de Ciències del Mar, Barcelona.Main topics of his research are sediment dynamics in shallow waters and morphodynamics and coastal evolution under different timescales using both in situ and remote observations.
